Catherine Gonick

Catherine heads up marketing communications strategies and materials for all external and

internal communications at MKTworks. Before joining MKTworks in 2002, she worked as a

financial writer/editor on Wall Street, for the Federal Reserve Bank and the Chase

Manhattan Bank, where she helmed the bank’s International Department magazine, and

for various Wall Street subscription newsletters covering the securities markets. She has a

background in writing on waste management, for McGraw-Hill and wastewater

engineering clients of MKTworks, and has worked as a copy editor for Random House.

 

Marshall Mermell

Marshall is president of MKTworks, Inc. (Marketing Works), a full-service advertising and

marketing firm. Marketing Works specializes in innovation marketing. Marshall initiated one

of the first applications of One-to-One marketing in the medical-device manufacturing

sector and is a pioneer in the discipline of risk-managed marketing. His experience

includes direct response marketing, project management, public relations, marketing

research and measurement analysis. Since the early 80’s he has led strategic marketing

campaigns for a diverse group of clients, including those in the high technology service

and manufacturing sectors, financial and healthcare industries, and nonprofit

organizations. Marshall holds an MBA in marketing management and in the late 70s

served as a student adjunct in the Wharton-Recanati Program.

 

Marc Sabin

A native Californian, Marc is currently the executive vice president of MKTworks where for

the last twelve years he has led the team in delivering company branding, logos, websites,

advertisements, blogs, video and radio production, and has been instrumental in

developing several sustainable technology ventures. Marc graduated from Sonoma State

University and received his Masters of Fine Arts from San Francisco State University.

 

Gillian Thorpe

Gillian is a passionate library advocate who has dedicated her career to building libraries.

In addition to directing the Butterfield Library, she is a library professional consultant and

trains other librarians to improve their libraries, increase funding, and build library staff and

community relations. Under Gillian’s leadership as Library Director of the Julia L. Butterfield

Memorial Library in Cold Spring, New York, the library has increased funding by 2,082% and

circulation by 712%.

 

 

Lynnea Hagen

For over 30 years Lynnea has been a corporate business/marketing consultant and

business turnaround specialist. Lynnea has provided consulting services for major

corporations including AT&T, Disney, and Quaker State Oil. A certified coach, facilitator

and retreat leader, and holder of four degrees, including an MS in Organizational

Development, she works with Silicon Valley-based Organizational Learning Center and has

taught for San Jose State’s extension program. She has facilitated virtual boards of

directors and served on the boards of several non-profits. Lynnea is also a two-time bestselling

author, international speaker, and host-creator of a live-talk business radio show.

 

Don Carli

Don has more than 20 years of experience in market research, business intelligence, and

strategic planning in markets and technologies for printing, publishing and imaging. He is a

Business Development Advisor to KeyInsite Inc, a boutique big data research & analytics &

digital marketing company, and Senior Research Fellow with the non-profit Institute for

Sustainable Communication. He has led research projects on emerging technologies,

chaired international symposia about the Internet of Things. Don served as a consultant for

twelve years to senior executives at Xerox. Active in both media and the industries he

serves, as an editor, writer, member and board member, he has won recognition and

awards for innovation in graphic communication and for digital media journalism in the

public interest.

 

Caitlin Hinrichs

Caitlin works as Marketing Works Social Media Specialist. Since starting with the company

in 2008, she manages the social media campaigns for clients. Caitlin has developed

websites, run the Adobe Creative Suite, as well as designed advertisements, collateral,

and trade show banners. Caitlin graduated from Alfred University with a degree in

Expanded Media, Graphic Design, and Communications.
